私のお客様達は世界一！
一つ前のエントリーで書きました三重の家。
実は引渡しの前日に「雨漏り」がありました。
ふつう、怒りますよね。
すん～ごく、怒りますよね。
でも、このお客様はすごいんです。

朝妻さん
雨漏りの件 早速 ○○さんが 来てくれました。
ありがとう ございます。
３階の屋根は漏れてない
同じ ３階デッキでも 隣の家側は漏れるけど
お風呂側は漏れない
ので、 何か 違いがあるのかもしれませんね
家内が、○○さんから伺った話では、３階のデッキの床防水塗装を やり直すかも との事でした。
同じ 構造をしていて、漏れていない箇所が あるので 答え はあると思っています。
大変かもしれませんが よろしく お願いします。
ちなみに・・・
私が、 産まれ育った 父の家は （Ｓ２０年建築）
古い広い日本建築の平屋で、雨漏り、土壁崩落、シロアリ という家でした。
埼玉大宮の 中古の一戸建ても どこからともなく 雨漏りして、水の侵入口が わからない。
そんな雨漏り当たり前の家で育ったので、 ”雨漏り？ うん あるかもね” と
あまり神経質な感じではありません。
答えが あるから、そのうち直ると思うよ
くらいで あまり深刻には考えてません。
今までの家の記憶が そうさせるのだと思います。
ただ、台風の時はすごいかもしれなので、
お手数 お掛けしますが よろしく お願いします。

って、こんなメールを頂きました。
「何があっても雨漏りだけはあってはならない!!」
これ、造り手の最低限の義務です。
絶対にやらなくてはいけないことです。
何が原因だとしても言い訳などできません。
なのに、なのに・・・
お許し頂けるんです。
過去にお手伝いさせて頂いた家の中にも
雨漏りした家が何軒かありました。
その他にも、何も問題がないということは少ないです。
何かしら不具合、不備があります。
それでも、私のお客様たちは怒らないんです。
その上にアグラをかくつもりなど毛頭ありません。
ただただ、お詫びと感謝の念に尽きます。
私はよく現場で
「あれっ、ここ曲がってるよ」
と指摘をします。
職人達はよく
「人間がやることだから、まあ、それぐらいは・・・」
なんて自分たちを正当化します。
でも、たとえ一ミリでも曲がっていれば
それはミスです。
言い訳なんて通じません。
まずは直す努力をする。
最後まで諦めずに直す努力をする。
その気持ちがなくてはいけないと思います。
これが建売住宅ならば絶対にクレームです。
でも、私のお客様たちはそれを
「これくらいはしょうがいよ」
といってくださいます。
“私、お金払う人＝一番偉い人”
なんて威張っている人は一人もいません。
「ご苦労様、よろしくお願いしますネ」と
現場にも気を配ってくれます。
私のお客様は、自分が一番の責任者だと
自覚をされています。
「この家づくりが成功するかどうかの
責任は全て自分にある!」
と、そういう自覚があります。
とにかく
肝が据わっているというか
度量が大きいというか
すごいんです。
私の一番の自慢は
そういう方達の家づくりをお手伝いさせて頂いている
ということだといつも実感します。
私のお客様たちは、みなさん世界一です！
感謝、感謝です。

どうしたかというと？
鍋を設置して雨漏りを楽しみました。
「風情があっていいねえ～」などといいながら。
類友っていいますし、朝妻さんのクライアント（自分含め）はおおらかな人が多いのかもですねー。

これまでを振り返ってみると
確かにその通りかもしれません。
みなさんに共通しているのは
“笑顔がいい”ってことかもしれません。
せっかくの家づくりです。
笑いながらやりたいですよね。
ちょいと 恥ずかしい。。
正直 気にならないんです。
よく 聞く話ですが、イタリア車の好きな人は
「たまに 雨漏りするけど、この車のフィーリングが たまらなく好き！！」という人がいます。
今回の家は、朝妻さん、設計の遠藤さん、施工の大原さん みんなさんと、 すごーく考えて 出来た家。
とても 満足していて、感覚的には
「すごい美人で 性格よくて、しっかり者だけど、たまーに そそっかしい所があって 憎めないんだよな・・・」
って感じかな～
でも 一番の理由は、「私の度量」と言うより、 いままでの プロセス を通じて みなさんの 「誠意と信頼」 を確信できている事だと思います。
朝妻さんが 最近書かれている 「対話のたいせつさ」 の結果だと感じます。
